Nutrition experts recommend that your child's daily intake of fiber should
equal his age plus 5 grams (i.e. a 5-year-old should get 5+5 = 10 grams of
fiber a day; up to a maximum of 35 grams a day.*).
Foods that contain a lot of fiber include: beans, oat bran cereals, whole
grains, fruits and veggies.
